Summer Mosaic Afghan

I designed these motifs to resemble concrete stepping stones inlaid with ceramic tiles.  Post stitches, popcorn stitches, and your basic crochet stitches combine into a textural design suitable for the intermediate crocheter or adventurous beginner.  Pattern has been successfully completed by hundreds of crocheters. 

Pattern as shown measures 48" x 72" and uses Scheepjes Stone Washed XL (70% cotton/30% acrylic, 50 g skein, 75 m/82 yards per skein) - Main Color (MC): Crystal Quartz, 24 skeins, Color A: Deep Amethyst, 3 skeins,  Color B: Yellow Jasper, 3 skeins,  Color C: Green Agate, 3 skeins,  Color D: Coral, 3 skeins,  Color E: Corundum Ruby, 3 skeins; J hook (6 mm), I hook (5.5mm)
